Hi, I'm
Wendy
I'm thrilled you're here.
I am a devoted wife and a loving mother to my beautiful daughter. I'm also a mama to a precious angel who lives in my heart.
After obtaining my B.S. in Business Psychology, I landed my dream job as a research assistant at Stanford. I worked with young girls in a study involving mindfulness meditation, dance, and self-esteem.
Most recently, my story of healing was published in a best-selling anthology titled Deserts to Mountaintops, The Pilgrimage of Motherhood.
In my chapter titled "A Warrior's Walk," I go in-depth about how my life took a turn when I gradually became bedridden and stayed that way for over two years due to an illness that was deemed psychosomatic by the medical system. I would eventually go on to diagnose myself and find a doctor to verify and treat my disease. After being well enough to be in a wheelchair and get a port implanted into my chest for ongoing antiviral medication, my new MD suggested I try a groundbreaking medicinal mushroom therapy to help heal some of my past trauma in hopes that my brain inflammation would lessen and the virus would go dormant. The treatment would prove itself to be a miracle as I was able to walk out of my first therapeutic mushroom treatment on my own, and I haven't needed my wheelchair since.
A year later, after an allergic reaction to a medication in the ER triggered a near-death experience, I would go on to gradually recover repressed memories of being drugged and sex trafficked by my family as well as the heart-shattering memory of being kidnapped by my uncle right outside of my 6th-grade class, and tortured for a day, having barely survived to tell the tale.
The experience with my ancestral medicine was my initiation into the once-fractured healing lineage of my ancestors. Now, I walk as a peaceful warrior, devoted to inspiring others to uncover their inner strength, reclaim joy, and create lives grounded in courage and compassion.
Yours truly,
Wendy
